Pullman launches unboring campaign and strengthens positioning in gastronomy, entertainment and art

São Paulo, September 28, 2022 – Pullman brand, from the Accor hotel chain, has just launched the “Pullman UNboring – Hotels where amazing things happen” campaign, which reinforces the evolution of Pullman over the last few years, focusing on unique F&B&E (Food, Beverage and Entertainment) experiences, contemporary design elements and immersive art found in each unit. Fully digital, the campaign will run over the next few weeks in Brazil, Chile and Peru, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Google.

The launch event, brought together more than 50 guests, including influencers and journalists, at the UNdress Party – a pijama party that took place at Pullman Ibirapuera, in São Paulo. In the list of personalities, the actor Joaquim Lopes, the singer Izrra, the model Cássia Ávila and the androgynous brothers Vinícius and Venâncio were present. Upon arrival at the Pullman Ibirapuera lobby, guests received a special outfit (striped robe and mask) and were able to record videos on a 360-degree camera, whose scenery gained clouds and smoke.

The presidential suite and four other accommodations have been transformed into dance floor environments, to the sound of DJs Lily Scott and Michelli Provensi, flash tattoo rooms and tarot reading by fortune teller Brona Paludo, pillow fight room, makeup studio and zone of relaxation. In addition, the corridors received bars with drinks signed by APTK Spirits, candy stands and other items, such as cotton candy machines and plush gifts. The food, which included options for pizzas, ceviches and hamburgers, was served in a different way: in bags, which are normally used by delivery guys, and themed supermarket carts.

“The new campaign is not a repositioning of the brand, because these actions focused on F&B&E and art already happen frequently in hotels. This is a new step for initiatives and I consider this moment an evolution of Pullman”, explains Roberta Vernaglia, SVP of Marketing & Digital Strategy at Accor South America.

In South America, the Pullman brand has 9 hotels in operation, three in Brazil, three in Chile, two in Peru and one in Argentina. Globally, there are 145 hotels opened in the last 14 years, with a further 50 openings planned by 2027.
